Finishing the last of a good thing

We've all tried the Blue Moon Ale, and there are several varieties out there. Yet Harvest moon is there fall line of seasonal beers. Harvest moon is a dark ale that has a definite malty flavor. Yet now this beer has been sitting in the fridge since late November but I have to admit there are many times when I like a beer that has some kind of fruit to sit around. Now finishing the last of my 12 pack I can really taste the thick pumpkin flavor, and wish it was like this when first opening the box, but the freshness of it from the box is great too. The beer rolls off the tongue well and still has a fresh taste that I have come to expect from the Blue Moon name.

Sorry I don't really have a pairing except to say right now I'm having some chocolate chip muffins and well, it's going great with em. Thought I think that a good steak and possible something a little on the spicy side would pair nice as the beer would definitely mild out some of the flavors.
